It seems that a score of 5 in table 1 would represent the expected value (based on chance or guessing).  Half of the subjects scored better than chance and half worse than chance.  Those who performed better than chance were only marginally better than this expectation.  How do these results indicate telepathic ability, in either individual subjects or the sample as a whole?  The results appear to reflect what would be expected from chance.  It is inappropriate to call the 5 subjects performing slightly above chance as having "telepathic powers".  None of these 5 subjects performed at above chance levels for more than 5 of the transmitters, suggesting that their "telepathic" performance is probably not consistently replicable.
