Other Comments:
This paper is an excellent addition to the mesothelioma subject, which is better known to affect and involve the pleura and peritonium.
The paper inspires for further research regarding the patho-physiology of the destribution of the mesothelioma in general and in the Tunica Vaginalis in particular, however it is a very rare tumour and a full research might be very difficult.

Other Comments:
Well written case report. There is not a great deal to learn from the case as far as diagnosis is concerned but whilst this type of case has previously reported, it does provide a timely reminder of the challenges associated with its management.

- Other Comments: 6. It would have been nice to know if the hydrocele fluid at the initial surgery was grossly blood stained. 9. Not applicable

This is an interesting and well written case report of a rare entity ie malignant mesothelioma of the tunica vaginalis testis. Although not proposed by the authors, their case presentation might suggest a more cautious handling of unusual cases of thickened tunica during hydrocelectomy; the pathology lab should always be a retreat in ambiguous cases.
