  • Other Comments:

The author states that all children experience pain with all its adverse emotional and social consequences.  The author states the need for more effort in enhancing the understanding of pain in children and its diagnosis and treatment.  A very informative section on pathophysiology is also presented.  The author also states that all clinicians should be familiar with current pain management modalities in children.
