After detailed review,I failed to understand how the pain of chronic pancreatitis was relieved by papillotomy ?

If the pancreatic duct was blocked by multiple stones as in this case then a drainage procedure or a hybrid procedure works for pain relief. Is pt is having multiple co-morbidities than pancreatic duct stenting also helps to relieve pain and malabsoprton. Was auto immune hemolytic anemia  not diagnosed in this pt at the time of labeling him as chronic pancreatitis. Hence forth, there seems to be no etiological relation between AIHA and ch pancreatitis in this pt.This may be a pure co-incidental finding which was diagnosed later. Author has not mentioned what pt was taking for Diabetes or malabsorption and expectant treatment for pain relief.

However, reporting such cases considering a causal relationship between the two pathologies is commendable. As this will further open the scope of research in this direction.

For a case report ,the number of references are too many. Overall a good article.
