Brief Biography:

Tim Beissbarth's background is in biology as well as computer science. Since 2008 he is leading a group in the field of Statistical Bioinformatics at the department of Medical Statistics at the University Medical Center Göttingen.

Academic positions:

Associate Professor at the Universtiy of Göttingen.

Research interests:

Statistical Methods in Bioinformatics, Reconstruction of Signaling Networks in Systems-Biology, Integration of different sources of genomics data for the prediction of therapy outcome in Personalized Medicine.
