Brief Biography:

Completed B.Sc (Hons) in Physiology, M.Res in Advanced Instrumentation Systems and PhD in Neuroscience at University College London.

Post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Alberta.

Faculty appointments at the University of Alberta and concurrent clinical appointments with Alberta Health Services.

 

Academic positions:

Assistant Professor in Divisions of Neurosurgery and Pediatric Surgery, the Centre for Neuroscience and in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine.

 

Research interests:

Neural Prostheses

Neuromonitoring

Spine and spine deformity and dysraphism

Neural oscillations

Free and rapid publishing of rigourous peer-reviewed articles is going to be critical for the way we practice academic medicine. WebmedCentral will, if it maintains high standards, become an integral part of this revolution in publishing.
