Brief Biography:

I have more than 50 scientific publications to her credit in various reputed national and international publications, of which a few have been extra ordinary. My article in BJOMS was printed as the cover article in 2008. I have about 40 such articles in review process as well.

I have contributed in three books, of which one is under printing process.

I am the editor in chief of the Journal of Oral Biology and Craniofacial Research, first issue to be published by Elsevier in Nov 2011 and then as 3 issues / year.

I have worked extensively on epidemiology of oral precancer and chewing habits for tobacco and areca nut products. Her expertise in the field of TMJ ankylosis and distraction osteogenesis is appreciated across the globe.

I am actively involved in research activities, with multiple running projects from ICMR, DBT, DST, and is the guide to Ph D, M Phil, MDS students.
