MS (Surgery)1986, Banaras Hindu University, DNB (Surgery), National Board of Examinations 1988 & FRCS, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh 1996. Presently working as Professor & Head Department of General Surgery, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Over 25 years of postPG teaching experience. Recepient of Boyscast Fellowship of Department of Science & Technology 1995-96, American Italian Cancer Foundation Fellowship 1995, International Union against Cancer(UICC) Scholarship 2006 & Commonwealth Academic Fellowship 2007. Has more than 130 publications to his credit including 38 International publications. Attended over 56 National & International Conferences. Delivered Prof Krishnamoorthy Oration of Association of Surgeons of India 2010 and Prof S P Srivastava Memorial Oration 2009 and various guest lectures. Member International Society of Surgery & European Society of Mastology. Life member of Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology
