Brief Biography:

I have published 21 peer reviewed aricles in reputed  international journals .I have presented at several national international scientific meetings. I have also obtained young investigator travel awards American Society for Neurochemistry. I was a reciepient of Lady Tata memmorial Fellowship as well as research fellowships from the council of scientific and Industrial research, govt. of India.

Research interests:

My research is focused on the role of oxidative stress, cerebral mitochondrial dysfunction and astrocyte dysfunctions and the mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis variuos disorders associated with neuronal/glial impairment including Acute liver failure, neuroAIds, drug abuse, tramautic brain injury etc.
