1996-till date: Microbiological consultancy in various aspects related to food and pharmaceutical industry, waste treatment, etc.
2001-2002: As vice president for a NABL approved laboratory in Bangalore dealing in material testing.
1994-1996 : As Head, Quality Control Department of a Fisheries Unit (100% EOU) in Mumbai, Exporting raw fish to USA, European Countries.
1988-1992: Worked as an Unit Manager for a Multinational Pharmaceutical Industry: M/s Wander Ltd., Mumbai (a sister concern of then Sandoz India Ltd.), having their 3rd party units in Kolhapur and Pune, Maharashtra, and engaged in production of nutraceuticals.
1986-1988: Post Doctoral Fellow (at the rank of Biochemical Engineer) at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Socorro, NM, USA.
1985-1986: Scientific officer in Dept. Biotechnology, IIT, Delhi.
