I am a postdoctoral fellow and Head of bioinformatics in the Microbial Epidemiology Laboratory at the Emerging Pathogens Institute of the University of Florida.

Research interests:

Bioinformatics: metagenomics, sequence analysis, microbial community analysis, molecular classification and microbial network analysis.

Machine Learning/Data Mining: large-scale clustering analysis, feature selection/extraction, neural networks.
