Dr Raines is a perinatal nurse specialist, curriculum design consultant, researcher and educational technologist. She is currently working on a variety of projects designing andimplementing innovative education and evidence based clinical programs. She is a Sigma Theta Tau International nursing expert for Sharecare.com (http://www.sharecare.com). Inaddition, she is a methodologist and mentor for doctoral students. Dr. Raines has over 100 publications in professional journals and textbooks. She has received numerous awards and honors for her teaching, research and professional contributions. She was elected a distinguished practitioner in the National Academies of Practice and was inducted as a Fellow in the Academy of Nursing Education.
