Brief Biography:

Cigdem Elbek Cubukcu is a pediatric dentist researcher interested in oral health of medically compromised children especially children with malignancy. Cigdem has MS in Dentistry from Ege University (1996), and PhD in Pedodontics education from Ege University (2000). Since the early 2000s, Cigdem has been consulting for Pediatrics Department, and presenting her research at the National and International conferences.

2000-2002: Staff Dentist, Institute of Technology, Izmir.
2002-Present: Chief and Staff Consultant of Pediatric Dentistry, Consultation Unit of Oral Diseases, School of Medicine, Uludag University, Bursa.

During my administration I could develop policies and improve quality of dental services to meet JCI* standards since 2003.

Research interests:

Oral health of medically compromised children especially children with malignancy.
