Brief Biography:

I had my early education in Serango ME School,Serango India.Medical education (MBBS) in Christian Medical College Vellore,South India and the Postgraduate Medical education (MD) in Madras Medical College India and later migrated to Jamaica,West Indies.

Academic positions:

1.Lecturer,Dept of Microbiology,University of the West Indies 1978 to 1989

Senior Lecturer,Dept of Microbiology,University of the West Indies 1989 todate

Consultant Clinical Microbiologist University Hospital,University of the West Indies 1978 todate.

Research interests:

Antimicrobial Resistance

Antibiotics and Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.

Hospital Infection Control
