Open Access Biomedical Publisher Using Post Publication Peer Review
Health Program Manager Univeristy of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center United States of America 21201
Born in rural India and educated in Tamilnadu, India, I came to France on a scholarship. I got trained in electron microscopy in the Universite de Paris V and worked on the in-vitro fertilization of human gametes in Universite de Paris VI. I went to University of Bristol, United Kingdom to collaborate with Prof. Ian Silver to measure oxygen consumption by mammalian male gametes in vitro. I came to USA to work with Prof. Fred Sachs on mechano-sensitive ion channels in heart cells and published the classical paper on the ultrastructure of patch membrane attached to the glass micropipette using high-voltage electron microscope. I continued to work on the calcium ion regulation in the cardiac myocytes and the molecular nature of the Na/Ca exchanger of various mammalian cells. Currently I am managing the clinical trials in Oncology in the hospital.
