Reviewers » Do Languages Affect Cultures? Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis
Several deep and interesting reviews have been posted to my articles:
"Language, Emotions, and Cultures. Emotional Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis"
"The Grammatical Roots of Jihdism"
These reviews and many discussions with colleagues stimulated me to start this Forum.
Do languages affect cultures and how they do it is a fascinating topic of discussions at least since the 4th century. Understanding of this is of great interest to scholars and everybody alike. Some of my colleague think that the entire world must think like Harvard professors do. Other people realize that this does not have to be this way, and it is not this way in real life. What is the role of language in thinking? A diverse readeship of WMC can contribute to this discussion. I am looking forward to reading future posts.
