Biography:
I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. My thesis work unraveled the role of phosphatidylinositol 4-kinases in Fc epsilon RI signaling in mast cells. During my postdoctoral work at NIH, I have identified and characterized two novel proteins involved in GPCR activation. At University of Washington, Seattle I am working on the identification and characterization of novel interacting partners of AMP kinases which are implicated cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure.
