1.       Set up the Diagnostic Histopathology Department, to serve as an infrastructure for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research.

2.       Set up the Museum, Teaching slide set and a collection of wet specimen.

  • Ph. D. Thesis : Neuroectoderm – Primitive Streak interactions with reference to copper catalysis.
  • ICMR Project : Reconstruction of common bile duct with the seromuscular layer of a loop of intact bowel- an experimental study. (In collaboration with Department of Surgery, M.A. Med College, New Delhi).
  • Induced skin Adnexal tumors (In collaboration with Ultrastructure Division of Cancer Research Institute, Bombay).

  • Multicentric Collaborative study of Indian Childhood Cirrhosis (ICMR).
  • Clinico-pathological study of pigmentary disorders (In collaboration with Department of Dermatology S.J. Hospital, New Delhi )
  • Collaborative study of HT 18, a human amelanotic melanoma cell line (In collaboration with the 1st Institute of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research, Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary).
  • Clinicopathological study of melanomas (In collaboration with the Cancer Surgery Department of Safdarjung Hospital).
  • Pigment cell research in collaboration with the Dermatology Department.
