Brief Biography:
I received my PhD from the department of Physiology and Pharmacology in the University of Salamanca, Spain, in 2009. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher on renal diseases in the “Universidad Francisco Vitoria” in Madrid, Spain.
My primary research goals are directed toward understanding the basis of molecular pathways in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition during nephropathies and its reversibility as well as the role of different fibroblasts in the extracellular matrix of the kidney. I have strong background in experimental models in mice and rats of renal fibrosis and also, I have been teacher assistant of physiology in the University of Salamanca and I received the University of Salamanca Award for best Ph.D. thesis in Pharmacy.

What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:
Word is changing while biomedical publishing is transforming very slowly. WebmedCentral is the driver of this change. Publishing first and peer review second, reduce time and cost.
