Brief Biography:

I am an Anatomist working as Professor in a medical College. I am having a teaching and research experience of 17 years. I am involved in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students of medicine and allied health sciences.

Research interests:

1. Basic human gross anatomy, histology – morphometry.
2. Research on vascular involvement in depression and neurodegeneration.
3. Role indigeneous plant products on gastric and duodenal ulcers in rats.
4. To establish database of brain structures using imaging modalities.

Young Investigator Award – 2004 by the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists (IFAA) in Kyoto, Japan.

Best Poster award in International Symposium on Health Sciences –  2005.

Worked as manuscript reviewer for clinical Anatomy (American Association of Anatomists) and Anatomical Science International (by Association of Anatomists of Japan) journals.
