Working as Professor in Biotechnology since July 2009 and has served various national and private organisations in India in various academic capacities. I have research & teaching experience of over 20 years and have supervised a good number of Masters in Technology and Masters in Philosophy (M. Tech & M.Phil) students for their dissertation work. I have been in the advisory panel of the journal entitled IJABPT and had been invited reviewer for Biotechniques, JEAT and JMLD. I have been associated with American Society of Microbiologists and Indian counterpart thereof.
I have served various organisations as postdoctoral researcher in India and the US. Subsequently, I served one of the prstigious national organization in India, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) and some private organisations of national repute. Currently, I am wroking as Professor in Biotechnology at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India.
My research interests are signal transduction and microbial genetics. I give empasis on cutting-edge discoveries on elucidating the signalling pathway(s) anomalies responsible for cause of diseases in humans on one hand, while engineering of genes encoding xenobiotic degradation pathways of microbial origin, on the other.
