1993-1995: Internship at the Faculty of Neurology, specialization: immunopathogenesis of the myelin-degenerative diseases of CNS, State Medical University, Luhansk, Ukraine
2003-2006: Postgraduate training in Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, State Medical University, Luhansk, Ukraine. Specialized in study of immune responses to pathogen in the immunocompromised individuals with HIV, Hepatitis, and TB.

Professional Appointments:
2003–2005: Clinical Scientist at the Regional Tuberculosis Dispensary, Zastava station, Lisichansk, Ukraine.  Clinical research aimed at finding the efficient therapy regimens for multi-drug resistant TB. Collection and evaluation of data relating to immune status of the patients with re-infection with multi-drug resistant strains of Mycobacterium.
2004–2011: Assistant professor at the Faculty of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, State Medical University, 50 Years of Defense of Luhansk street, Luhansk, Ukraine. Research immunological investigations of patients with TB, HIV, and hepatitis B and C.
