Brief Biography:


Dr Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan obtained Ph.D from the Faculty of Biological and Nutritional Sciences, University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, UNITED KINGDOM. in 1995. MSc (Hons), from the Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Human Nutrition, NWFP, Agricultural University, Peshawar, Pakistan.BSc (Hons) from Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Human Nutrition, NWFP, Agricultural University, Peshawar, Pakistan. Currently, Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, International Islamic University, Malaysia, Previoulsly, worked as Associate Professor at Department of Human Nutrition, Faculty of Nutrition Sciences, NWFP, Agricultural University, Peshawar, Pakistan. Editorship: 1. Pakistan Journal of Biological Sciences (Associate Editor) 2007-2009 2. Asian Journal of Clinical Nutrition (Associate Editor) 2007-2009 Received Numbers of Awards IIUM Research, Invention and Innovation Exhibition 2011 (IRIIE 2011) Award (Gold Medal) IIUM Research, Invention and Innovation Exhibition (IRIIE 2010) Award (Bronze Medal) IIUM Quality Research Award (Silver Medal). International Islamic University, Malaysia, Quality Day-2009. Research and Productivity award 2003-2004 (Ministry of Science and Technology)-Pakistan. Gold Medal for having distinction in MSc (Hons) among the students appeared in the examination. President of Pakistan Award for having distinction in BSc (Hons) among the students appeared in the examination. Winner of 1989-90 Merit Scholarship of the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan, for higher studies. USAID Mission Project Scholarship award 1989-90 for Higher Studies at USA. Completed various research projects in field of nutrition. Supervised number of students in the field of Human Nutrition including PhD, M.Sc. (Hons), MPH and undergraduates.
