Brief Biography:


Dr. Kiarash is an orthopedic surgeon with special interest and training in the areas of Adult reconstruction and diseases of the hip, knees, ankle and feet. He is a pioneer in new techniques and technology adaptation in the area of hip, knee and ankle arthroplasty. He is the first Orthopaedic surgeons in Tucson to offer his patients total hip arthroplasty through a Modified Anterior approach. He is also one of the first orthopaedic surgeons in Arizona and the surrounding areas of The Southwest to use shape fitting technology in knee arthroplasty such as Otis Med™, and Visionaire™. In addition, he is a member of design team for a new Total ankle arthroplasty implant. He completed his undergraduate training at University of Texas, Dallas. After graduating from the George Washington University School of Medicine with Distinction, he completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery, at Allegheny General Hospital. He then continued his education in orthopedic surgery with fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Kiarash has served as Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Arizona since 2002.
