What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:

I believe that the webmed central may be a useful tool for scientists to communicate and to be able to publish research and exchange ideas on research. It seems to be a very useful first step to overcome the publication bias and the influence of both editors and publishers which may hinder the publication of valuable scientific material. However I still do have some queries about the quality control/assurance of the type of research published as this will affect credibility and impact among the scientific communities which I hope may be resolved as the system functions.
