Dr. Niaz Ali

Brief Biography:

Dr. Niaz Ali has been an Ex-Chairman of Departrment of Pharmacy, University of Malakand, Chakdara, Dir, Pakistan. He has worked as full time faculty member in the University of Malakand from May 2004 to Jan, 2011. He has teaching and professional experinece of about 14 years. He has launched the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at University of Malakand. In addition, he also helped in launching of M.A & M.Sc and M.Phil Programs at University Of Malakand. He has also helped in preparing relevent legistlation and feasibility reportd for the said programs. He has also worked in ABBOTT Lab. Pakistan Ltd. as Territory Manager. He remained internee at Manufacturing and Quality Control deparment of ABBOTT Lab. Pakistan Ltd. Karachi.

He has also worked as Hospital pharmacist in Al- Rahma Hospital at Abha Saudi Arabia (Ministry of Health KSA) for period on one year. Dr. Niaz Ali has also worked in mufacturing Unit of an ISO certified Pharmaceutical indutry where he helped in its ISO surviallance audit and extended services as quality control pharmacist and acting incharge Quality Assuarance deptt.

Thus he shares  experiance of manufacturing unit of a pharma Industry, pharmaceutical marketting and sales, practices as hospital pharmacist and as a teacher. He has also secured membership of American College of Clinical Pharmacology.

Research interests:

Biomedical reserach in field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Preliminary Pharmacological screenings of Natural products and pure compounds. Designing clinical trials and pharmacotherapeutic / pharmacoeconomics studies
