Brief Biography:
I am currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Zoology, JN Vyas University, Jodhpur (Raj.), India.
I engage graduate and post-graduate classes covering course contents primarily on "Cell and Molecular Biology", "Animal Physiology" and Evolution.
My research interest involves use of bioinformatics/computational biology tools for analysis of nucleotide and amino acid (protein) sequences. My main focus is repeatitive sequences that are primarily microsatellites or "simple sequence repeats" and molecular evolution.
Academic positions:
1991 Lecturer (Zoology), Govt. College, Rajasthan, India
1992-2001 Assistant Professor (Zoology), JN Vyas University, Rajasthan, India
2001-onwards Associate Professor (Zoology), JN Vyas University, Rajasthan, India
