Prof. Marcelo Vicari

Brief Biography:

Graduated in Biological Sciences at Universidade Estaudual de Ponta Grossa, Paraná State, Brazil. Master and PhD thesis obtained at Universidade Federal de São Carlos, São Paulo State, Brazil.   Nowadays I work at Universidade Estaudual de Ponta Grossa, Paraná State, Brazil; teaching the grades of the genetics and evolution. My research are is in Animal Genetics (Cytogenetics).

Academic positions:

Professor at Universidade Estaudual de Ponta Grossa, Paraná State, Brazil. Works with Animal Genetics (Cytogenetics).

Research interests:

I have interests in Animal Genetics > Cytogenetics; gene regulation; fluorescence in situ hybridization; imunohistochemystry.

What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:

This is a clever idea for a rapid dissemination and evaluation of WebMed Central with the different research centers. This work certainly expedite the evaluation of manuscripts, the speed and quality of the publications.
