Ms. Mehwish Hussain

Brief Biography:


I am working as a Senior Lecturer of Biostatistics at Department of Research of Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) and also Incharge of Master of Science in Biostatistics and Epidemiology (MSBE) Program of DUHS. I have sound experience on giving lectures to post graduates students of medical and dental sciences of DUHS. I have also taught undergraudate and postgraduate business students in an affiliated university of University of Karachi. My academic qualification includes Bachelor and Master Degrees in Statistics with first class top positions and currently doing a thesis project in Statistics for PhD Degree after getting 3.9/4.0 CGPA in the course works of MS. Moreover, I am statistical reviewer in Journal of Pakistan Medical Association and international reviewer of Higher Education Teaching and Learning (HETL) portal. Additionally, I am Manager of Research Development and Knowledge Exchange (KEx) Data Collector in my HEI's Organization of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) and corresponding person for the same to Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Concurrently, I am Coordinator of Education Chapter of Quality and Productivity Society of Pakistan (QPSP). Besides these, I am actively involved in many research works and presented some research papers in international conferences. Luckily, I have participated in different research poster/oral competitions and got positions in each competition. I have three published and four under-publication articles in indexed journals of Pakistan and many articles submitted in national/international journals.
