Research interests:
Dr Chapotot‘s research focuses on the physiological regulation and mathematical modelling of vigilance in various circumstances. He has developed quantitative methods for the evaluation of waking EEG activity, its interrelationships to other endogenous variables and its alterations under pharmacological and environmental influences. From laboratory and field studies he’s assessing the psychophysiological, endocrine and metabolic consequences of sleep disruptions and their relations to sleep and waking EEG patterns. He also develops a computational research based on signal processing, data mining and machine learning to improve automatic bio-signal analysis and diagnosis systems.
