Brief Biography:

Myself as I, Alok Ranjan Singh, doing my post doctoral training in Department of Pediatrics, Moores Cancer Center, University of California, San Diego, California, USA in field of cancer specially pediatrics cancer (medullobalstoma and neuroblastoma) since 2009 to present. I did my PhD in Biotechnology from the Division of Biochemistry, Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India. My post doctoral research are focused on…… 1. To dissect the role of PI3Kinase and PTEN signaling in cancer stem cells, promotes medulloblastoma tumorigenesis. 2. Role of PTEN in its interaction with microtubule networks using 2 Hybrid genetics and mouse genetic models as well as PTEN mutagenesis and enzymology 3. Role of PTEN and PI3K in controlling of LPS induced TLR4 signaling in lymphoma. 4. To discover a novel combination of targeted therapeutic agents active against pediatric tumor models and the execution of clinical trials based on these basic science discoveries. I have 4.5 years experience in field of cancer specially medulloblastoma and neuroblastoma pediatrics brain cancer. I have expertise in cancer stem cell biology, cell signaling, drug screening, in-vitro and in-vivo studies of various inhibitors, radiation (in-vitro and in-vivo), western blot, cell cycle and apoptosis analysis by FACS. I submitted seven manuscripts in top tier journals.
