Venous Vnomalies
Posted by Prof. Kichka Velkova on 22 Apr 2013 08:25:02 PM GMT

Taking into consideration the wide variety of venous malformations, the agenesis of IVC is a rare anomaly.

A large part of these varieties and anomalies have no symptoms.

Venous thrombosis cause by local or general infections is among the most common reasons for clinics.

This is also valid for the presented case.

I have had other cases of varieties in the venous system, e.g. May Thurner syndrome, but never has a cease with IVC agenesis.
