    Idiopathic intracranial hypertension is a common syndrome characterized by chronic headache.  In its classic form it is accompanied by bilateral papilledema.  Hemicrania continua is classified as a primary headache disorder.  There are secondary presentations of hemicrania continua which are infrequent.
