This paper is based on the results of series of 14 questions with multiple answers sent to over 200 Italian physicians; only 48 doctors replied to the questions. The questions are listed, along with the answers and a discussion of the "correct" answer.

The organization of this paper does not follow the usual format: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion. The questions and discussion of the "correct" answers would be better placed as an appendix. The interpretations and conclusions are not adequately supported. The author concludes that most physicians are ignorant of the principles tested by these questions. An alternative explanation is that the "correct" answers are not actually correct.
