Wound Healing Made Unlimited

  • What are the main claims of the paper and how important are they?

Laser therapy in management of surgical wounds is an established modality of treatment. Indicated wounds as mentioned by the authors are successfully treated by laser therapy.

  • Are these claims novel? If not, please specify papers that weaken the claims to the originality of this one.

Laser therapy in wound management are usually tried where the facility is available. The study should have been on more number of cases.

  • Are the claims properly placed in the context of the previous literature?

    Yes.

  • Do the results support the claims? If not, what other evidence is required?

Yes. However the duration of wound healing in relation to the wound size should have been taken into account.

  • If a protocol is provided, for example for a randomized controlled trial, are there any important deviations from it? If so, have the authors explained adequately why the deviations occurred?

This is not a randomized trial.

  • Is the methodology valid? Does the paper offer enough details of its methodology that its experiments or its analyses could be reproduced?

A comparative study with and without laser therapy should have given an authentic & positive result.

  • Would any other experiments or additional information improve the paper? How much better would the paper be if this extra work was done, and how difficult would such work be to do, or to provide?

Comparative study of laser therapy & conventional wound care with more number of cases would have been better.

  • Is this paper outstanding in its discipline? (For example, would you like to see this work presented in a seminar at your hospital or university? Do you feel these results need to be incorporated in your next general lecture on the subject?) If yes, what makes it outstanding? If not, why not?

    Yes.

  • Other Comments:

Authors are requested to study on more number of cases comparing with traditional wound care policy in order to publish the data in future.,

Sir, Thank you very much for your valuable review. In my study the number is ten as we wanted to know the effects first on these patents then try on other patents.I compared the effect of laser therapy on wounds by accelerated wound healing and wound contraction.I agree that duration of wound healing in relation to wound size should have been taken into account. And last comparative studies would be more better.
