Other Comments:
The authors need to explain the terms as standard and not what is used in germany or poland or... The questions raised by the authors at the end of the MS are unneccessary. The outcome of the case study is not menioned.

I think the question raised by this article are important because they raise questions that have directly affect practice decisions about interventions in the labor process. From personal experience I think there are other case studies that more clearly exemplify the phenomenon the article describes and proposes to research. I think the paper would be stronger it it focused specifically on the implications of "false" ROM for management of birth and possible reduction in unnecessary interventions such as induction and prophylactic antibiotic use. I think the number of possible research questions and the nature of the questions distract from this focus. Narrowing these questions down would strengthen the article.

I've been a practicing Midwife for 35 years and the question of ROM and their management has had significant impact on how labor and managed and how women experience their labors and, sometimes, on out-come, ie. successful vaginal birth or resulting c-section.
