Biography:


Mr Agrawal is a Consultant Surgeon specializing in Bariatric (Obesity/Weight-Loss), Laparoscopic (Key-hole) & upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at Homerton University Hospital in London.

Mr Agrawal is also Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Digestive Diseases, Blizard Institute, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London, London.

Mr Agrawal is certified as ‘Bariatric Surgeon of Excellence (BSOE)’ by Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) of USA. He is the only Weight-loss/Obesity Surgeon to achieve this designation in the UK.

Mr Agrawal has the honor of being the First and only Post-CCT Fellow in Bariatric and Upper GI Surgery awarded under the National Surgical Fellowship Scheme through the Royal College of Surgeons of England in partnership with the Surgical Specialist Associations in the UK.

Mr Agrawal has had extensive training in UK, Belgium, Japan & India and has an experience of over 550 laparoscopic bariatric procedures to date. In addition, he has undertaken more than 2000 general surgical procedures so far.

Mr Agrawal trains other surgeons in bariatric & laparoscopic surgery and has made numerous presentations at national and international meetings as well as publications in peer-reviewed journals.
