Brief Biography:
I am an Assistant Professor of Surgery, Associate Program Director and Director or Surgical Simulation Training at Texas Tech Paul L Foster School of Medicine in El Paso, Texas. My primary clinical interests are endoscopy and laparoscopy as they pertain to upper gastrointestinal surgery especially hepatobiliary surgery. I am a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons as well as a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. I am active in research and publication on the clinical level as well as maintaining several basic science collaborations.
