What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:

As indicated in Webmedcentral that biomedical publishing has not been able to keep pace with advancing technology. Biomedical publishing needs radical changes to empower authors, reviewers and readers. This is the role played by introduction of a novel method of publication without prior peer review followed by author driven post publication peer review.
