Brief Biography:
Graduated from Medical School Francisco Marroquin, in 1993. Finished residency in general psychiatry at University of Michigan Ann Arbor 1998. Addcition psychiatry fellowship 1999. Research Fellowship through American College of Neuropsychopharmacology 2000.
Academic positions:
Assistant professor and Medical director of addiction treatment center at university of Michigan 2000-2006.
Associate professor and Associate Medical Director, tobacco treatment program at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center 2006-current
Research interests:
Psychopharmacology of Addictive Disorders. In particular alcohol and nicotine dependence
