Brief Biography:
Moorthy P. Ponnusamy is an Instructor of Department of Biochemistry and Molecular biology in University of Nebraska Medical Centre, Omaha, NE. He has received a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Madras, Chennai, India in 2001-2005. He has completed his B.Sc and M.Sc in Biochemistry from Bharathydasan University, Trichy, India (1996-2001). He has received postdoctoral fellowship from Susan G. Komen foundation and because of its novelty this project was selected for additional founds (2008) from Nebraska affiliate Susan G Komen foundation. He has also received Postdoctoral Scholar Year Award (2010) and three times (FYs2007-2009) best performance stipend award from University of Nebraska Medical Centre, Omaha, NE. He is serving as reviewers for Journal of Ovarian research and Springer science press, NY, USA. He has published fourteen manuscripts and two book chapters.
