Dongdaemun-gu

Brief Biography:

Dr. Hemant Kumar Srivastava has completed his Ph. D. in Chemistry (2000-2005) from RML University. This was followed by around three years of postdoctoral research (2005-2009) in Hadassah Medical School, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He joined the Center for Molecular Modeling, IICT Hyderabad in March 2009 and worked there till December 2012. He has travelled several countries and attended and delivered lectures in national and international symposiums, conferences and workshops. His main area of research is computer aided drug design (QSAR, Docking, etc.), theoretical organic chemistry (transition state theory), high level quantum chemical calculations and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. He has been awarded prestigious Young Scientist Award (by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Uttar Pradesh, INDIA in 2005) and SERC Fast-Track Project (by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India in 2009). He has published ~25 research papers in the journals of international repute.
