1986, Graduated in Medicina e Chirurgia at the Università degli Studi di Verona; 1988, Visiting Fellow at the Veterans Administration Centre, Boston University; 1990: Board Certification in Neurology at the Università “La Sapienza” di Roma; 1994, Philosophy Doctor in Neuropsychology at the Università “La Sapienza” di Roma.

Main interest of Prof. Padovani have been devoted toward Neurodegenerative Diseases including Alzheimer Disease, Parkinson Disease; additionally, he was involved in Cerebrovascular Disorders and Headache. He is author of more than 200 international peer-reviewed articles on the most important neurological and neurobiological journals (i.e. Archives Neurology, Neurology, Stroke, Neurobiology of Aging, Lancet Neurology, Nature, Journal Neuroscience, Molecular Psychiatry, JNNP, Movement Disorders, Neurological Sciences).
