Brief Biography:
Degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry at Federal University of Santa Maria; Master in Clinical Microbiology (2001) and PhD in Infectious Diseases (2005), both at the University of São Paulo, (Brazil). Currently works as associate professor at Federal University of Pampa, Campus Uruguaiana. Has experience in Clinical Microbiology and Molecular Biology, focusing on the following topics: methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), molecular typing and healthcare associated infection.
