Brief Biography:
Dr. Ayman Amer, M.D., M.Sc. (Medicine), M.Sc. (Anatomy), Ph.D. & Postdoc (Marshall University, WV, USA), Associate Professor of Medical Neurobiology and Human Structure at the Oman Medical College, and earlier studied Biomedical Sciences at Marshall University, USA and worked as an Instructor and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Joan C. Edwards Medical School, Marshall University, WV, USA then as an Associate Professor of Neuroscience at School of Medicine, University of Missouri-Kansas City, MO, USA; and a member of several international professional societies including American Association of Anatomists, Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, Society for Neuroscience, International Brain Research Organization, American Association for the Advancement of Science, and The Research Council of Oman. He is the course director of Medical Neurobiology and teaching the 4th and 5th year-medical-students at Oman Medical College and published several research articles and books. Dr. Amer’s research has been supported by the National Institute of Health, the Department of Defense, and the National Science Foundation, USA.
