I am a Research professional having more than seven years of experience in the field of clinical microbiology and Infectious Disease. Now I am looking for a challenging career in research and development that gives me scope to enhance my knowledge and skills to recent trends and enhance my potential.

Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of clinically important pathogens includes, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi, Escherichia coli, Kebsiella spp., Pseudomonas spp Enterococci and Acinetobacter spp.

Checker Board Method (To find out synergistic combinations of antibiotics.

Detection (phenotypic and molecular) of drug resistance mechanism in bacteria such as Extended Spectrum Betalactamases (ESBL), and Panton Valentine Leukocidin gene and Staphylococcal cassette chromosome in Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Van A and Van B from Vancomycin Resistant Enterococci.

Detection of phenotypic and molecular characterization of drug resistance mechanism in bacteria such as AmpC Betalactamases (AmpC), KPC (Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenamases) , Quinolones Resistance genes (QNR), OXA type ESBLs, and Metallo Beta-lactamases (MBL), New Delhi Metallo Beta-lactamases (NDM) from gram negative pathogen.
