Brief Biography:


Currently Assistant Professor(Tenure Track) in the Dept OF Epidemiology at the University of IOWA, College of Public Health. Trained in Maternal and Child Health/Reproductive Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins. Particular Interest in Reproductive EPI and Social Epidemiology in the global environment. Teach social EPI, Field Methods in Global Health Research, Study Abroad in Romania, Study Abroad in South India, EPI III: Theories and Program Evaluation. 15 years Experience Conducting large national Evaluations of social Health Programs in the US. Developing Research core in Romania and India. In Romania, conducted studies on Pediatric Injury, Breastfeeding, Perinatal Depression, and Antenatal Stress.
