Post graduation (DPM, MD): University of Bombay, (MRCPsych): Member, Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK, and (FRCPC): Fellow, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Canada. Staff Psychiatrist and Consultant, Credit Valley Hospital & Trillium Health Centre. Part-time Clinical Lecturer, Dept. of Psychiatry, University of Toronto. Member: Canadian and Ontario Medical & Psychiatric Associations. Activist in the fight against the stigma of mental illness globally. Volunteered as Board Member: Canadian Mental Health Association; Children's Aid Society; Consultant, Bereavement Committee (Social Welfare Board); Judge: Local, National and International Science Fairs and Debating/Public Speaking competitions, Consultant BAPS-Canada; Hobbies: public speaking, poetry, painting, photography, journalism. What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:
This is a great initiative, as it provides opportunities for busy clinicians who are interested in editorial positions. Clinicians in busy practice have extensive experience and knowledge in their speciality, but do not have easy access to publish their work.
