What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:

I think that the idea of WebmedCentral is an important development in scientific research as it has a number of benefits. Post-publication peer review allows research to be published in a timely fashion and will ensure that valuable information is not delayed in publication, and research regarding rare or small fields is more likely to be published. It is not uncommon in my field to find a dearth of information on a given topic in the peer reviewed literature, but papers available on the internet that have proven to be very useful. WebmedCetral will ensure that there is a space for the publication of basic research that will be peer reviewed and may prove a valuable contribution to the field. The concept of WebmedCentral will also hopefully help to eliminate publication bias.
