What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:
As many have said before me, the time and effort researchers put in to generating results and the percentage of this which results in publication (in the majority of cases because of prohibitive cost) is very small. All it takes is for one person's idea to generate a chain of thought in another and for that to lead to new understandings in science. For that reason, WebmedCentral is of potentially limitless value in the open access realm.
